Hey Girls! How are you all doing? Lately, I have been wearing  a lot of colorful jeans and have been getting lots of compliments on them. Whenever I wear colored denims it reminds of Paris because you see so many people wearing colored jeans there especially guys. Colored jeans have been hitting the streets since last spring and from the looks of it, they’re here to stay for awhile! Lots of Hollywood stars are also seen rocking their colored denim trend on street and in parties. For Spring and summer, bright and bold colors are a major trend. Colored  jeans are fun and modern, adding excitement to one’s overall look. I like to style my denims with modern tops, blouses, even jackets and fashionable blazers. Colorful bright jeans bring good mood and always look refreshing and trendy during the spring time. Designers give this Spring trend a feminine twist with tight fit and sexy styles. I like to pair mine with some sandals, boots, booties or flats to provide a perfectly polished look.

Sequin Wear!

Hey Girls! Spring and summer make everything look so beautiful, all colorful and bright. It lifts up your mood just to look at them.  You can also look sparkly, pretty and colorful and be just as beautiful as the weather. Simply get in on one of my spring and summer season’s hottest trends Sequins!

Here are my tips on how to make this look work:

  • Balance is the key here. You don’t want to end up looking too overboard. If your outfit is sequin, pair it with some simple pieces in neutral colors ( I usually go with denims or black tights).
  • By contrast, if you don’t want to go all-out with the bling you can just add some metallic/sequin accessories to your outfit. Nail polish and make-up count!
  • There are a multitude of sequin shades out there, so don’t think you just have to stick with basic gold and silver.
  • If nothing else, these are the 4 key sequin pieces that must be found in every chica’s closet:  sequin clutch, sequin cocktail dress, sequin tank top, a pair of sequin heels and a sequin bikini.

Tips For Whiter Teeth

Hey Everyone! Alright let’s admit it that once in your life time you have thought about how do your favorite stars get those pretty-white smiles? Here are my tips on how to keep your teeth white, clean and pretty:

  • Follow a good dental care routine.
  • Brush your teeth twice daily!
  • No skipping on the flossing! Brushing alone is not enough.
  • After meals, swish water around in your mouth for 30 seconds to help prevent stain from foods. ( Better yet, carry around a mini-bottle of mouthwash).
  • When hungering for a snack, chew on raw fruits and vegetables that help produce saliva. By stimulating saliva flow, they act as a natural detergent and remove bacteria and whiten teeth. Choose from apples, pears, strawberries, celery or carrots. Gum also works. Speaking of strawberries, these contain natural whitening agents so you can make your own natural whitening paste from strawberries and baking soda.
  • For the illusion of whiter teeth, choose lipsticks with blue undertones such as red, plum and burgundy. Two for one bonus: these shades look great with Latina skin tones anyway. Avoid orangey undertones; these make teeth look yellow and dull.

You still have to visit your dentist regularly. You may not get a balloon like when you were a kid, but you’ll get a healthy and kissable mouth for your troubles, so flash those pearly whites!”

Five New Habits For a Better Life

Hi my beautiful friends! How are you all doing today? Today’s post is a personal challenge and I am going to talk about five new habits that I am going to install in myself for the next 21 days, and the reason it is 21 days is that they say that if you do something consistently for 21 days it becomes a habit. So, I am hoping that I grow into making this habit more of a character for myself. And I invite each and every one of you to join me in this challenge J

Habit #1 – Give Compliments – Now the most important part about giving compliments is that you have to be sincere; you cannot just go around throwing compliments because people will sense it, people will feel it. We are all intuitive creatures that we can feel when somebody is being ‘real’ or when somebody is being ‘not real’. So, as you go through your day I want you to be really aware of your thoughts. Let’s pretend you are in a grocery store and a cashier is checking you out and you see she has done a really pretty makeup and you think to yourself mhhmm she has pretty makeup……Usually we think about these things, these positive things about others and we actually just think about them and never really say it. Some of you guys might already say it which is great! I try to say these things when I find something pretty, attractive or interesting about anyone that I see through the day, I already kinda do this one but I want to do it all the way 100%. The bottom idea is anytime you feel, you think a good thing about anyone it could be their makeup, their hair, it could be their smile, or it could be their attitude. It could be anything YOU don’t actually think it, you tell them. By doing this you are going to make somebody’s day. You are going to feel great because you gave someone a genuine compliment and maybe you are going to make their life, you never know what people go through and some actually never get any compliments. So, I challenge you to give compliments not only to your family but definitely to strangers that you get to meet throughout the day in school, at work , in a grocery store wherever you go through your day.

Habit #2 – Spend time with your family – It’s probably one of the most important habits to develop and a lot of us go through life, will live with the family so we spend a lot of time with them because we live in the same house but everyone is in their own world and in most cases I would be in my room on my computer and my sister would be in her room doing something. You really aren’t spending time with each other unless you are doing dinner together or something like that. So, you are not really getting to know each and every family member that you are so fortunate to have. There are people in this life that has never had any family. If you are fortunate enough to have family in your life, I urge you to spend time with them. So make a date with every person in your family, you are going to have 21 days. Like make a date with your sister to go shopping, you are going to have enough time. You actually get to spend quality time with them; you get to talk with them and get to know them better you know. Try to make it different try not to talk too much, let them be. You are going to find it quite magical. I used to do this before and I want to start it again. And the stuff that came up was just wow, we never talk about this. It is a beautiful thing because it is going to connect you better, you are going to feel better and it is going to just connect you to your own family. I think that if you can give that gift to yourself, you can give that gift to your family members you should definitely give it a try. So, for the next 21 days get to know your family; make dates with your family and try to spend really good quality time with each member of your family.

Habit #3 – Validate others – Validate your family members or your friends or strangers you get to meet through the day. Validation is very different from giving compliments. Validation is telling the person, you know your bus driver, your teacher, or your friend that you know what, I know that you work so hard and I really appreciate everything you do. So, if it’s your mom, you can say mom I know how hard you work, you cook for us and you clean the house and you do all these things, like I really appreciate it, you know I really love you. Here’s a movie to get you guys some ideas about validation (Watch the Validation video, it’s amazing: I am really excited about this one! Being open to everyone is going to make a huge difference for every one of us if we try this.

Habit #4 – Give more of you – Giving more of you but doing it unconditionally. They say real joy comes from giving and I totally, totally agree with that. Do I always give? I wouldn’t say so. I don’t know why?? It’s kind of a thing that it’s hard to give when you can. So, my challenge to myself and my challenge to you is give more of yourself to others. And giving more of yourself can really be anything you can either help your friend with homework, or your sister or brother is in a little stress you know you can tell them, I will help you clean the house today. You can give flowers to your mom; you know you can do anything. Challenge yourself to give something whether it’s time, a gift, you can even cook for someone, anything, anything goes. I will be consistently giving more of myself and I challenge you to give more of yourself.

Habit #5 – Learn how to ask for help – Now personally, I don’t think I have a problem to do that. Whenever I need help whether it’s looking for something or life challenges I am either going to go to my sister, my mom or to one of my friends and I am like what would you do in a situation…have you ever felt this way?? I believe that I usually do that but during previous months I have went through some problems and I just shut down. You know it’s not good to shut down; it’s really hard to open up to people around you. It is so much important to just talk to people around us and whether you are experiencing an emotional challenge you can ask for help, you can talk to people and ask them what helped for them…If there are any books that they can recommend or maybe sometimes you just want to talk and let it out and that’s all help you need just somebody to listen, maybe you just want to cry and you are feeling emotional you just need a shoulder to put your head on. It could be anything maybe you need help with starting a new business. Honestly, it could be anything. You cannot always do something on your own, if you can that’s amazing but don’t let your ego come in the way, when you can succeed and all you need to do is ask for a little help a little guide, do it. You are not demanding you are genuinely asking for help in a direction, if you need that or maybe emotional, anything. The idea is learn to ask for help because it will really help you in the big picture, it’s going to make a big difference, it’s going to help you out and there is no need to pretend and be strong you know, I should be able to handle this by myself, no.. I think that we are in this world together because we are here to help each other in any way that we can. I believe that learning how to ask for help is a really positive habit we can all make.

DKNY Scent Finder?!

Hey Everyone! Today I want to talk to you guys about the DKNY scent finder quiz. You can take this quiz on DKNY Facebook fragrance page,what it is going to do is, it is going to find your perfect scent. So, you go through this quiz, it’s actually really fun. It is not a test in school or anything, I actually just wanted to go back and wanted to take it again. But it asks you questions like your favorite music and your fantasy vacation…In the end it gives you a personal collection that is your perfume personality. Which I think is really cute. And it is basically the best scents that would fit with your best interest and your lifestyle and stuff like that. I was actually really surprised that when I took this quiz, my perfume personality was casual, seductive and sophisticated and  it said that my two scents were DKNY be delicious and Fresh Blossom. Which are actually my favorite perfumes that I literally alternate between back and forth on each day. I was actually literally shocked that an internet site could give me really precise answers. It was actually a lot of fun!

I wanted to let you guys know about this before Mother’s Day because it is a perfect gift for your mother, but if you are not sure which one is she going to like, you can just take the quiz and if you are unsure of something you can just ask your mom in a sneaky way like in between a conversation what is it the she likes more.Like ask her if she likes chocolates or ice-cream. Green Goddess Juice!

Nothing is sweeter than clear skin and bright eyes. This juice recipe is meant to do just that!
Don’t be alarmed it’s sweeter than you think!
All of our produce is organic, of course.
You’ll need a juicer for this recipe…perhaps the time is now to get one!
2 apples
3 stalks of celery
1/2 bulb of fennel
1 cucumber
1 handful of spinach
*add half a lemon (optional)

 *Makes 24 oz.-approximately 2 servings

How to Look 10 Pounds Thinner in Photos??

Hey Everyone! Have you ever wondered why is it that celebrities always look skinny in red carpet photos? Well, it is also true that some are skinny. So how is it that in pictures they all appear so slim-ly terrific? More importantly, how can we look 10 pounds thinner in photos?

The secret is in the pose. Here are a few secrets to appearing 10 pounds thinner in photos. You can practice these tips in front of a mirror.

  • Secret No. 1: Turn partially sideways to the camera, planting one foot in front of the other. Point your toe to the camera and place your weight on your back foot.
  • Secret No. 2: Pull head forward slightly to minimize any appearance of a double chin.
  • Secret No. 3: Hold arms slightly away from your body. This keeps upper arm flab from flattening out and therefore appearing flabbier (much like thighs do when one sits on a couch).
  • Secret No. 4: Pull shoulders back, chest forward and gently suck stomach in. Be careful not to suck stomach so far in that your ribs show, thereby causing those who later see the photo to cluck to themselves in a bemused, sing-song voice, “She’s sucking i-in.”
  • Secret No. 5: If you can, try the look away trick. To do this, look away from the camera, then turn towards it, breaking into a smile just before the camera clicks. Your smile will appear fresh, not frozen. This trick takes practice behind closed, locked doors.
  • Secret No. 6: Use objects you are holding to your advantage by placing them in front of parts of you you’d prefer to hide. A purse or corsage in front of your belly. A jacket slung over the shoulder. The very modern version of the corset, Spanx are famous for making women all over the world appear 10 pounds thinner.
  • Secret No. 7: Fake tans will make you look and feel skinnier. Unfortunately, they tend to reek, except for GlowFusion, a spray tanner I swear is not odorous.
  • Secret No. 8: It’s not just black that makes you look thinner. Wearing an entire outfit of just one color will do the trick as well, whether it be white, beige, brown, blue or red. One color tends to elongate your figure. Avoid entire outfits in pink, however, unless you are four years old or younger.

Hey Everyone! Selena Gomez is coming out with a perfume called,”Selena Gomez”next month! Are you going to try it out?? She designed the bottle like a long purple gown, with lips spewing at the top and the bottle is tall, because it will stand out from the other perfume bottles. The smell is a mix of raspberry, purple freesia, and vanilla. Here’s a pic of the bottle:
