Hey Girls! Have you seen the beautiful, dazzling Jennifer Lawrence’s hair from The Hunger Games premier in LA? It is so beautiful, romantic and fairytale like! No less than a princesses hairstyle. Her hair was braided (very Katniss) with Jennifer Behr hair accessories woven into the braid, then put into a bun.
Follow these four steps of Katniss to achieve the embellished braided bun:
Hey Dolls! I have been doing these hairstyles lately and people have been giving me lots of compliments and have been asking how to achieve this look. So, today I’m going to share these cute, perfect for spring hairstyles with you and teach you the process on achieving the beautiful hairstyle!
Messy Side Braid
A little bit sexy, a little bit sweet, Kim Kardashian’s style works for day, night, weekends and any other time. Give yourself a deep side part, then gently swoop your hair over to one side. Braid lengths, then secure the tail with an elastic that matches your hair color. Perfection is not the goal—if little pieces stick out, no biggie.
Side Twisted Chignon
Apply volumizing spray to damp hair, then blow dry them. Get a little textured hair after blow drying. Then create a center part. Starting at the front, twist small sections of the hair from the sides and pull each side back into a bun or chignon, secure with bobby pins. And your done!
I have seen so many celebrities doing these curled side ponytails lately& I am a big fan. I am in love with them they are perfect do’s for spring & summer. This curled and voluminous look is fun yet sophisticated it is perfect for a date night, an event with girls or an elegant daytime event.
Taylor Swift looks ah-mazing in this look, it’s so romantic and fairy tale like. This extra curly trend looks so fresh and perfect on her!
So, how to achieve this beautiful look, just follow these 10 handy dandy steps:
Start with dry hair.
Part your hair, I personally recommend to do an exaggerated side part. Make sure to place your side pony on the opposite side of your part.
Curl your hair using a half-inch curling iron into soft loose curls. ( Do this before you put your hair into a side ponytail because this way it will give more volume and dimension to the overall look).
Flip your head over and spritz a lightweight hairspray.
Tease the crown of your head and smooth out the surrounding curls.
Put your hair into a low side ponytail and tighten the hair band/elastic.
Carefully pull out the hair around the frame of your face.
Take the longest strand of hair from the side, wrap it around the base of the ponytail and secure it with bobby pins.
Spritz some finishing hairspray to get a smooth and shiny overall look!
And your ready to go, to add an extra glam to your look you may add a pretty & thin hair band or a flower a few inches above your ponytail.

What do you think of the curled side ponytail? Have you tried this beautiful look before?
Hey my beautiful friends! How are you all doing? Today I want to tell you people about my favorite and most impressive heat protecting spray. We use heat protecting sprays before using a curling iron or a straightener but many of us forget to use a heat protector before blow-drying our hair. I am talking about the Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray by TRESemmé to keep my hair protected from heat. It leaves my hair looking and feeling soft, sleek, and static-free. It also provides a nice shine too! I use it when my hair is damp before I blow dry it and also again if I plan on flat ironing. I love the super fine mist it creates when you press the trigger. I also love the removable clip on the trigger pump that comes with it which makes this product perfect for traveling.
Have you tried this spray before? If not, which heat protecting sprays do you like or use?
Hi beauties! I have been looking forward to trying this spray for the longest time you could think of right now. While I was shopping at my local store I found this baby for $14.99 (you don’t need to pay those ridiculously high prices for a good quality spray anymore) and bought it right away! It is a spray used by professionals & finest stylists. I tried it and OMG you won’t believe it, this hairspray does not leave your hair gummy, flaky, or hard. It lock’s in your style and gives long lasting volume with this beautiful spray. Enriched with pro-keratin, you can get effortless volume and hard working hold all day. The spray holds all my hair in place but still leaves it soft, touchable, moveable & with no frizz in sight. L’Oréal Paris Elnett Very Volume Hairspray Supreme Hold has an ultra fine mist that will disappear at the stroke of a brush so you can change your style as often as you change your mind. How to use, all you need to do is spray it onto dry & styled hair! I am so happy to get this baby & you will love it too, give it a try!
Have you tried L’Oréal Paris Elnett Very Volume Hairspray Supreme Hold yet?
The pony tail is back. But did it ever fall out of favor? The versatile horsetail can be worn low and flat, tucked under and sectioned off, or super slicked and damp. I personally love wearing my hair in a ponytail actually that’s probably the hairstyle you will see me in 90% of the time, especially when I’m working-out, running, or doing chores around the house.
Today I got asked whether I pluck my eyebrows? Now by that I wasn’t sure if she wanted to know whether I use waxing, threading or a tweezer to pluck them or if she wanted to know if my brows were naturally shaped like that? She did give a compliment saying,” I love your brows they go perfectly with your face shape, do you pluck them?” Well my answer was that yes, I do pluck them using thread & I’m definitely not one of those lucky girls out there with the perfect brows. Today I’m going to share it with you people because I’m sure this help many of you out! Well hopefully 😛
My method of choice for brows is threading and to be honest I think it is the best way to get the shape you want. I have heard many people say that threading hurts & I totally agree with you. I only say that threading is the best way to shape your eyebrows is because the lady that does mine is pretty fast and you won’t even know when she’s threaded where. It will just be like a sting and the pain goes away pretty fast.
Also, make sure you get the right shaped brow according to your face shape and to your brow bone structure. I f you try too hard to get a new shape, it will make your eyes look smaller and it will not flatter your overall face. I cannot stress this enough: don’t try to copy your favorite celebrity’s brows just because you want to look like them or for any other reason. Again go with the natural shape & frame of your face. If you have a small face & have more delicate features avoid getting or having super thick or full eyebrows or else it will be too overwhelming. Another tip to keep in mind is to make sure the space between your eyebrow & your upper lashes is small. If your face is square or round, aim for longer brows with a little bit of an arch to them. Typically finding your brows shape depends on your face & eye shape, as well as your brow bone structure. Usually, you can see the natural shape of your brows you just need to clean the stray of hairs around it.
Lastly & most importantly, when you decide to get your eyebrows done whether you are planning on getting them threaded or waxed, or using a tweezer, make sure you go to a professional reputable place or someone that is suggested by a friend. Trust me you don’t want to have a nightmare where you are missing half of your brow that most girls do whom don’t make an effort to go to a professional. I always go to a professional or someone that is recommended by a friend.
